Steven Geray, born Istvan Gyergyay on November 10, 1904 and died aged 69 on December 26, 1973 in Los Angeles, California. He was a film actor who appeared in over 100 films and dozens of television programs. Geray appeared in Spellbound , Gilda , In a Lonely Place , All About Eve , Call Me Madam and To Catch a Thief . He was born in Ungvár, Austria-Hungary and educated at the University of Budapest. He made his first stage appearance at the Hungarian National Theater under his real name and after nearly four years he made his London Stage debut in 1934, appearing in Happy Week-End!...
