Tammy Suzanne Green Baldwin is the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district, serving since 1999. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Baldwin is a candidate in the 2012 U.S. Senate election in Wisconsin to succeed retiring Senator Herb Kohl. Baldwin was born and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin.
