Gaines Adams was an American college and professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League for three seasons during the early 2000s. He played college football for Clemson University, and was recognized as an All-American. He was drafted in the first round of... the 2007 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears of the NFL. Adams died unexpectedly in 2010 from a previously undetected heart condition. Adams was born in Greenwood, South Carolina. He attended Fork Union Military Academy in 2001 and recorded 58 tackles, 22 sacks, and two interceptions in 10 games. He was a three year starter at Cambridge Academy, a small private school which only had an 8-man football team, where he was a dominant wide receiver and defensive end. His coach during high school was former University of South Carolina quarterback, Steve Taneyhill. In 2000, his team won the state title. During that year, Cambridge shut out four different teams, beating one team 80–0. They had suffered only one loss that season to arch-rival King Academy.

Davin Joseph is an American football guard for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Buccaneers 23rd overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oklahoma. Joseph played high school football at Hallandale High School in... Hallandale, Florida. While there he was a four-year starter at both guard and defensive line and played in a school-record 532 plays. During his senior year he was the Broward County Defensive Player of the Year and was awarded All-State after recording 100 tackles and 24 sacks. He was also a two-time 2A state and a national wrestling champion at heavyweight in Florida. Joseph played college football at Oklahoma. During his freshman year he was named Freshman All-Big 12 by The Sporting News. As a senior he was a consensus First-Team All-Big 12 selection. He finished his career playing in 50 games with 29 starts at guard and 11 starts at left tackle. Joseph was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23rd overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. During his rookie season he started 12 of 13 games at right guard.

Carnell Lamar "Cadillac" Williams is an American football running back for the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League. He originally committed to the University of Tennessee but changed when Auburn University football head coach Tommy Tuberville visited Williams personally at his home in Gadsden, Alabama and convinced him to play football at Auburn. Williams moved on to Auburn University after graduating from Etowah High School in Attalla, Alabama. He got the nickname 'Cadillac' from a TV sportscaster in Alabama for the style and the way he ranhe was a notch above everyone on the field, and the name stuck." While at Auburn University, he majored in Sociology.

Eagles players who have been inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame include Chuck Bednarik, Bob Brown, Reggie White, Steve Van Buren, Tommy McDonald, Earle "Greasy" Neale, Pete Pihos, Sonny Jurgensen and Norm Van Brocklin. Bell was also inducted as a contributor. Half-way through the 1931 season, the Frankford Yellow Jackets went bankrupt and ceased operations.
