The Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law is the law school and a constituent academic unit of Temple University. Informally referred to... as Temple Law School, the school is located at the Main Campus of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, has operated continuously since its founding in 1895. Originally named "The Philadelphia Law School of the Temple College," the Law School was renamed "The Temple University School of Law" in 1910. In recognition of a major endowment gift by James E. Beasley, a Temple Law graduate and distinguished Philadelphia lawyer, the Temple University Board of Trustees changed the official name of the school in 1999 to The James E. Beasley School of Law of Temple University. Temple Law currently uses both the traditional Socratic method and the Problem method in teaching legal theory and skills. In recent years, much emphasis has been placed on developing "real world" skills and students are encouraged to participate in intensive Trial Advocacy or Transactional programs, as well as clinics.

The Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine is a podiatric medical school part of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school... is located at 8th and Race Streets in downtown Philadelphia. The school was founded in 1963 as the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine . The school runs the Foot and Ankle Institute, the largest podiatric medical clinic in Philadelphia. The current dean of TUSPM is John Mattiacci, D.P.M. TUSPM was opened in September 1963 as the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine . After Temple’s original medical school closed in 1960, several members of its faculty obtained a charter from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to open a new podiatry school. PCPM existed in rented facilities for its first few years, and moved into its own center at 8th and Pine streets in 1965. When the current campus opened in 1973, it was the first facility ever developed specifically for podiatric use. In addition to classrooms and labs, the complex includes student housing building and a medical clinic, known as the Foot and Ankle Institute. PCPM merged with Temple in July 1998.

The Richard J. Fox School of Business and Management is the business school of Temple University. Located in Philadelphia, the Fox School offers... several Master of Business Administration programs ; several other master's degree programs; and several Ph.D. programs, including in finance, in marketing, in international business, in entrepreneurship, in management of information systems, in risk management and insurance, in strategic management ,in sports, and accounting. The school has some 6,500 students, 155 full-time faculty, and over 42,000 graduates, of which about two-thirds live and work in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. It is the largest business school in the Philadelphia region and one of the largest in the world. The current dean of the school is Dr. M. Moshe Porat. Established in 1918, it was named in honor of Richard J. Fox in 1999. The MBA program began in 1942. The school was accredited by the International Association for Management Education in 1973. The Ph.D in Economics program was established in 1976.

The Stella Elkins Tyler School of Art, usually just referred to as Tyler School of Art is Temple University's school of art, which confers BFA and... MFA degrees. The school was originally founded by sculptors Stella Elkins Tyler and Boris Blai on a separate 14-acre estate in Elkins Park. In 2009 the school's campus was consolidated to a new purpose-built building on Temple University's main campus in Philadelphia despite objections from alumni, faculty, and students. The Tyler curriculum encompasses programs in the fine arts, design, art history, art education, and architecture. Tyler students work with a faculty who are dedicated teachers, accomplished studio artists, and highly respected scholars. One of the things that makes Tyler similar to other art schools is the requirement of a Foundation year. Studies for the BFA degree at Tyler begin with a common freshman experience, the Foundation Year. During this year, students are enrolled in studio courses in Drawing, 2-D and 3-D Principles, and Foundation Computer. The Foundation Program is highly structured and intensive.

Barbara Chase-Riboud is an african-American novelist, poet, sculptor and visual artist, perhaps best known for her historical fiction. Much of her... work has explored themes related to slavery and exploitation of women. Chase-Riboud attained international recognition with the publication of her first novel, Sally Hemings, in 1979. The novel has been described as the "first full blown imagining" of Hemings' life as a slave and her relationship with Jefferson. In addition to stimulating considerable controversy, the book earned Chase-Riboud the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize for the best novel written by an American woman and sold more than one million copies in hardcover. She has received numerous honors for her work, including the Carl Sandburg Prize for poetry and the Women's Caucus for Art's lifetime achievement award. In 1965, she became the first American woman to visit the People's Republic of China after the revolution. In 1996, she was knighted by the French Government and received the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. She will be the subject of a major exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 2013.

Billy Paul is a Grammy Award winning American soul singer, most known for his 1972 number-one single, "Me and Mrs. Jones" as well as the 1973 album... and single "War of the Gods" which blends his more conventional pop, soul and funk styles with electronic and psychedelic influences. He is usually identified by his diverse vocal style which ranges from mellow and soulful to low and raspy. Born and raised in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Paul began his singing career when he was twelve, appearing on local radio shows. Listening at home to his family's collection of 78s, Paul began developing a vocal style that would eventually incorporate traces of jazz, R&B and pop. Paul attended Temple University, West Philadelphia Music School, and Granoff School of Music, for formal vocal training. Switching from rock music to soul to pop ballads, he soon became known through his performances on the underground musical circuit in Philadelphia. Paul's popularity grew and led to appearances in clubs and at college campuses nationally.
