The Electric Horseman

Buddy Feyne was an American composer and lyricist of the swing era. He penned the lyrics for the standards "Tuxedo Junction" and "Jersey Bounce" .... His songs have been recorded by artists as diverse as Glenn Miller, Joe Williams, The Manhattan Transfer, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Autry, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, The Andrews Sisters, Frankie Avalon, Joe Jackson, George Benson and Boz Scaggs. He was born Bernard Feinstein in New York, the youngest son of immigrants Solomon and Sarah Feinstein. His older brother, Irving, befriended Milton Berle, who advised Bernard that a Jewish name would prevent him from succeeding in the music industry, and summarily changed his name to Buddy Feyne. Feyne was based at the Brill Building in New York, writing songs for Lewis Music Publishers, one of the few companies which published "race music", the term for songs created by black artists. In 1939, Erskine Hawkins and his band introduced "Tuxedo Junction" at the Savoy Ballroom, in New York, which was an immediate hit.

The Walt Disney Company’s Golden Oak Ranch is a movie ranch that serves as an interior and exterior filming location. The ranch is off of Placerita Canyon Road in Canyon Country, California, less than an hour north of Los Angeles; its entrance is about 2 miles from Placerita Canyon Road's... intersection with State Route 14. The ranch is on land that was part of the Rancho San Francisco land grant. It was named in honor of Francisco Lopez, the man credited with discovering gold in California, years before the discovery that precipitated the California Gold Rush. Walt Disney bought the 315-acre ranch in 1959 for $300,000. Subsequent purchases of adjacent land grew the area of the ranch to 827 acres . In October 2009 Disney announced plan to construct a 12 stage production facility on 56 acres at the ranch. Expected to generate more than 3000 jobs during construction and more than 2800 permanent full and part time jobs, the facility is projected to contribute $533 million annually in economic activity. Construction is slated to begin in 2013.
