Clive Richardson is an English director who made music videos for the British band Depeche Mode. During the 1980s, he changed careers and began work for a media company in Essex. He made videos for eight Depeche Mode singles, including "Just Can't Get Enough", "Everything Counts", "Love in Itself",... "People Are People" , "Master and Servant", "Somebody", and "Blasphemous Rumours". After the group switched to Peter Care for three videos, the band would have Richardson do an eighth video, "A Question of Lust". However that would be his last video, when he was "replaced" by Anton Corbijn as the band's main video director. He also directed the videos "Mad World" and "Change" for the group Tears For Fears. Other groups he directed videos for include Siouxsie and the Banshees, Marillion, Big Country, Blancmange, Marianne Faithfull, Howard Devoto, Steve Winwood, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, and Adam and the Ants.

Anton Corbijn is a Dutch photographer, music video and film director. He is the creative director behind the visual output of Depeche Mode and U2, having handled the principal promotion and sleeve photography for both for almost 3 decades. Some of his works include music videos for Depeche Mode's... "Enjoy the Silence" and Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" , as well as the Ian Curtis biopic Control , George Clooney's The American , and A Most Wanted Man based on John le Carré's 2008 novel of the same name. Corbijn was born in Strijen, the Netherlands. He started his career of music photographer when he saw the Dutch musician Herman Brood playing at a cafe in Groningen around 1975. He took a lot of photos of the 'rising star' Herman Brood & His Wild Romance. Because of the pictures taken by Corbijn, Brood's fame rose quickly, and as a result Corbijn's own exposure increased.

Donn Alan Pennebaker is an American documentary filmmaker and one of the pioneers of Direct Cinema/Cinéma vérité. Performing arts and politics are his primary subjects. Pennebaker was born in Evanston, Illinois, the son of Lucille Levick and John Paul Pennebaker, who was a... commercial photographer. Pennebaker served in the Navy and later worked as an engineer, founding Electronics Engineering before beginning his film career. After falling under the influence of experimental filmmaker Francis Thompson, Pennebaker directed his first film, Daybreak Express, in 1953. Set to a classic Duke Ellington recording of the same name, the five-minute short of the soon-to-be-demolished Third Avenue elevated subway station in New York City is the earliest known example of Pennebaker's penchant for blending together documentary and experimental filmmaking techniques. In 1959, Pennebaker joined the equipment sharing Filmakers' [sic] Co-op and co-founded Drew Associates with Richard Leacock and former LIFE magazine editor and correspondent Robert Drew.

Steven Dale Green is a convicted rapist, murderer, and war criminal. He is a former Private First Class in the United States Army who was convicted of gang-raping and murdering a 14-year-old Iraqi girl named Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi and murdering her 5-year old little sister, her mother and... her father, inside their house in the village of Mahmudiyah. He then set fire to the house before leaving with his 4 accomplices. Green grew up in Seabrook, Texas and moved to Midland, Texas when he was 14. According to school officials, he dropped out of high school in 2002 after completing the 10th grade and moved to Denver City, Texas, where he earned his high school equivalency in 2003. Days after a January 2005 arrest for alcohol possession, Green enlisted in the U.S. Army. In doing so, he was granted a moral character waiver for prior drug and alcohol related offenses that might have otherwise disqualified him. Green graduated from Infantry Training Brigade and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division , Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

He has directed videos for Stone Temple Pilots, Filter, R.E.M., 311, Faith No More, Green Day, The Used, 10 Years, Depeche Mode, The Smashing Pumpkins, Papa Roach, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Rise Against, Insane Clown Posse, The Offspring, and Blue... October, as well as several other bands. His most recent work is directing the video for Rise Against's "Re-Education " and "Savior" , and Blue October's "Dirt Room" . Kerslake's directing has been praised by many. The Offspring guitarist Noodles has praised Kerslake's unique videos as very "off the wall.

Peter Care is an English director of music videos, commercials and film. He has directed music videos for R.E.M., Bruce Springsteen, Roy Orbison and Depeche Mode, amongst others. Care began his directorial career as a film student at the Sheffield School of Art . Upon graduating, he set up the... Sheffield Independent Film Company, with funding from the Arts Council and Channel 4. He wrote, directed and produced numerous documentaries and two short films; one of which, "Johnny Yesno", incorporated a soundtrack by a British Industrial cult band Cabaret Voltaire, which was later released as Johnny Yesno: The Original Soundtrack From the Motion Picture. This led to making several ground-breaking music videos for the band. One of them, "Sensoria", became the most successful "underground" video of all time. Voted Best Video of the Year by LA Times; it enjoyed a seven month run on MTV and was one of the first three videos to be procured by the New York Museum of Modern Art.
