Thomas Fleming

Thomas James Fleming is an American military historian and historical novelist, with a special interest in the American Revolution. Fleming was born in 1927 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of an Irish-American World War I hero who was a leader in Jersey City politics for three decades, starting in the 1920s. At the time, the city was dominated by an Irish political machine. "Irish politics was the be-all and end all."
