Thornton

Brian Telestai is an American musician. He grew up in Thornton, Colorado. After high school, Telestai moved to Orange County, CA where he attended... Hope International University. In winter of 2005, Telestai joined the post-hardcore band I Am Ghost to play bass/keyboard/vocals. The band signed to Epitaph Records in 2006 after receiving a huge buzz from utilizing the social networking site, Myspace.com. I Am Ghost has also had many media mentions in magazines, including a Metal Hammer Interview. They also have been interviewed for several websites, and had their albums reviewed in UK music magazines such as Q Magazine, Metal Hammer's Dead Hot 50 Band's of 2006 List, Ap Magazine's 100 Bands You Need to Know, and Kerrang! Magazine. Their song, "Lovers' Requiem" was also played on the world famous KROQ radio station in Los Angeles. In 2007, I Am Ghost was awarded best local rock artist by OC Weekly magazine, and were awarded their first RIAA Certified Gold Record for their song, "Our Friend Lazarus Sleeps" that appeared on the 2006 Vans Warped Tour Compilation.
