His works include Blue Latitudes or Into the Blue, One for the Road, Confederates In The Attic, Baghdad Without A Map, A Voyage Long and Strange: Rediscovering the New World., and his most recent book: Midnight Rising: John Brown and the Raid That Sparked the Civil War, published in October 2011.
