The production of automobiles creates millions of jobs which in turn provide economic stability. This list is made up of the top auto producing countries that have all benefitted from the production plants located within their borders. The United States leads the group with manufacturers like GM, Ford and Chrysler located in the country. Japan comes in at a close second having the auto manufacturers Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda calling based in their country. With the current auto crisis, quite a few countries might see these numbers become quite stagnant in the next couple of years.
