Toyota Camry Hybrid

The Toyota Camry Hybrid is a hybrid version of the Toyota Camry sedan. The Toyota Camry Hybrid was introduced in North America in early 2006, to Thailand in mid-2009, and Australasia in early 2010. The car is currently produced in Australia, Japan, Thailand, and the U.S. The Camry Hybrid differs from the non-hybrid Camry with some slight cosmetic differences and the addition of the hybrid drivetrain. As at the end of August 2009, the Camry Hybrid represented 8.3% of Toyota's global hybrid sales in the world, and ranked second in global sales after the Prius. The United States is its main... regional market and the Camry Hybrid ranks as the third best selling electric hybrid car in the U.S. The Camry Hybrid meets the U.S. Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle standards which means it produces minimal emissions of hydrocarbons, nitrous oxides and carbon monoxide, and up to year model 2010 it had an Environmental Protection Agency "Greenhouse Gas Score" of 9.5 for California and 8.0 for federal certified vehicles. Due to its environmental performance, the Camry Hybrid was awarded with the 2007 Green Car of the Year.
