David Jude Heyworth Law , known professionally as Jude Law, is an English actor, film producer and director. He began acting with the National Youth Music Theatre in 1987, and had his first television role in 1989. After starring in films directed by Andrew Niccol, Clint Eastwood and David... Cronenberg, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1999 for his performance in Anthony Minghella's The Talented Mr. Ripley. He was a member of the main competition jury at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Law was born in Lewisham, South London, the second child of comprehensive school teachers Margaret Anne and Peter Robert Law; his father later became, according to Law, "the youngest headmaster in London". He has a sister, Natasha.

Robert William "Bob" Hoskins, Jr. is an English actor known for playing Cockney rough diamonds, psychopaths and gangsters, in films such as The Long Good Friday , and Mona Lisa . He has since played lighter roles in family films, such as Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Smee in both... Hook and Neverland . Hoskins was born in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England, the son of Elsie Lillian , a cook and nursery-school teacher, and Robert William Hoskins, Sr., a bookkeeper and lorry driver. One of Hoskins's grandmothers was a Romani of the British Romanis. Despite being born in Suffolk, he confirmed on Desert Island Discs in November 1988 that from the age of two weeks old he was raised in Finsbury Park in north London. His father, a Communist, brought up Hoskins as an atheist, and he now describes himself as an agnostic. In 1967, aged 25, Hoskins spent a short period of time in kibbutz Zikim in Israel. In a recent interview, when asked what he owed his parents, he said, "Confidence. My mum used to say to me, 'If somebody doesn't like you, fuck 'em, they've got bad taste.

Armando Giovanni Iannucci is a Scottish comedian, satirist, writer, director, performer and radio producer. Born in Glasgow, he studied at Oxford University and left graduate work on a PhD about John Milton to pursue a career in comedy. Rising quickly through BBC Scotland and BBC Radio 4, his... early work with Chris Morris on the radio series On the Hour was transferred to television as The Day Today. A character from this series, Alan Partridge, went on to feature in a number of Iannucci's television and radio programmes including Knowing Me, Knowing You and I'm Alan Partridge. In the meantime, Iannucci also fronted the satirical Armistice review shows and in 2001 created his most personal work, The Armando Iannucci Shows for Channel 4. Moving back to the BBC in 2005, Iannucci created the political sitcom The Thick of It as well as the spoof documentary Time Trumpet in 2006. Winning funding from the UK Film Council, he directed a critically acclaimed feature film In the Loop featuring characters from The Thick of It in 2009. As a result of these works, he has been described by The Daily Telegraph as "the hardman of political satire".

Menhaj Huda is a British film and television director and producer of Bangladeshi descent. His first directing job was the 1993 television series Hypnosis. He directed Jump Boy in 1999, which won an award for 'Best Feature Film' at the Mediawave awards. Other directing credits include Queer as... Folk 2, Is Harry on the Boat?, Murphy's Law, Murder in Mind, The Bill, Blue Murder and HolbyBlue. Huda produced as well as directed Kidulthood and West 10 LDN, both written by Noel Clarke. Huda won the 'Douglas Hickox Award' at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards. He is currently working on the psycho flick Comedown which stars Martin Compston, Adam Deacon, Geoff Bell, Red Madrell and Duane Henry, the filming begins in March 2010 in London, as well as his own "spiritual follow-up" to Kidulthood, Everywhere and Nowhere, based around the London DJ scene, currently in post-production.

His highest grossing film however was the 1998... film adaption of the TV series Lost in Space. He was born in Jamaica and was raised in Australia and England. He was educated at Sutton Valence School. In 2004, Hopkins directed the controversial biopic The Life and Death of Peter Sellers which raised the ire of the actor's son Michael Sellers. Hopkins was a co-executive producer for the first season of the Fox action drama 24, and also directed half of the season's episodes, including the first and last episodes.
