Tuesdays with Morrie

Tuesdays with Morrie is a 1999 television film adaptation of the Mitch Albom's book of the same title. It features Jack Lemmon in a role for which he won an Emmy award. The book describes a writers strike occurring, allowing Mitch to visit Morrie whereas in the film Mitch is shown to continue working and no writers strike is mentioned. The film shows more of Mitch's private life especially involving his wife Janine.
