The Tulane University School of Liberal Arts is a part of Tulane University and was created in the fall of 2005, pursuant to a university-wide Renewal Plan which in part separated the School of Liberal Arts from the School of Science and Engineering. The School of Liberal Arts is made up of 15 departments and 21 interdisciplinary programs in the humanities, the social sciences and the fine arts.
