The Metropolitan Autonomous University is a public university located in Mexico City, Mexico. It has four separate campuses located in different boroughs of the Federal District: The creation of a fifth campus in the municipality of Lerma, State of Mexico, has been approved, and it is under construction . UAM Rectoría is the main office, and it is located in the south of the city, near Xochimilco, at the street Canal de Miramontes.
