Gregory Jack "Greg" Biffle is a NASCAR driver who drives the #16 3M Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing in the Sprint Cup Series. After racing in... the NASCAR Winter Heat Series in the mid-90s, he was recommended to Jack Roush by former announcer Benny Parsons. He subsequently became champion in NASCAR's other two national touring divisions, the Nationwide Series and the Camping World Truck Series. Biffle grew up in Camas, Washington and began his racing career driving on short tracks around the Pacific Northwest. He first gained national attention as a driver when he raced in the nationally televised Winter Heat Series in the winter of 1995–1996. Biffle dominated the series championship that winter, leading former ESPN announcer and NASCAR champion, Benny Parsons, to recommend the driver to Jack Roush. Biffle entered the first two races of the 1996 Winston West Series, finishing 30th at Tucson and 4th at Altamont. His debut in one of NASCAR's national divisions came later that year when he ran the final two Busch Series races of the season.

Frances Yeend was an American classical soprano who had an active international career as a concert and opera singer during the 1940s through the... 1960s. She had a long and fruitful association with the New York City Opera between 1948 and 1958, after which she joined the roster of principal sopranos at the Metropolitan Opera where she sang between 1961 and 1963. She also had an extensive concert career, particularly in the United States. By 1963 she had sung in more than 200 orchestral concerts in North American with major symphonies like the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra among others. Born Frances Leone Lynch in Vancouver, Washington, Yeend grew up in Portland, Oregon. She had very little musical training before entering Washington State University in Pullman, Washington where she studied singing. Following several years of college, she worked as a music teacher for a few years, during which time she also sang as a recitalist and on the radio.

Dorothy Stratten was a Canadian model and actress. Stratten was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for August 1979, Playmate of the Year in 1980 and... was the second Playmate born in the 1960s. Stratten appeared in three comedy films and at least two episodes of shows broadcast on US network television. She was murdered at age twenty by her estranged husband/manager Paul Snider, who committed suicide the same day. Her death inspired two motion pictures. Stratten was born Dorothy Ruth Hoogstraten in a Salvation Army hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Simon and Nelly Hoogstraten, who were Dutch immigrants. In 1961 her brother John Arthur was born. Her sister Louise Stratten followed in May 1968. In 1977 she was attending Centennial High School in Coquitlam when, while working part-time at a local Dairy Queen, she met twenty-six year old Vancouver-area club promoter and pimp, Paul Snider, who romanced her. Snider later had professional nude photos taken of her which were sent to Playboy magazine.

Scott A Mosier is an American-Canadian film producer, editor, podcaster and actor best known for his work with director Kevin Smith, with whom he... co-hosts the weekly podcast, Smodcast. Mosier was born in Vancouver, Washington and moved around as a child between British Columbia and Washington. He has dual Canadian and US citizenship, as his father was born in Saskatchewan, Canada. As a teenager he resided in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Mosier met Smith at the Vancouver Film School in Canada. Their first assignment, Mae Day: The Crumbling of a Documentary, was a student film documentary that fell apart in production. To salvage it, Smith and Mosier interviewed the crew about the demise of the very documentary that they had been attempting to produce. They also added a segment in which the two were shown in silhouette as they described their fictional thoughts. Four months into the eight month program, Smith decided to drop out, but not before making a deal with Mosier: each would start writing a script of their own, and the one who finished last would help the other with his movie.

Emmanuelle Vaugier is a Canadian film actress, singer, songwriter and television actress who has had recurring roles as Detective Jessica Angell on... CSI: NY, Mia on Two and a Half Men, Dr. Helen Bryce on Smallville, and FBI Special Agent Emma Barnes on Human Target. In feature films, Vaugier has appeared alongside Michael Caine and Robert Duvall in Secondhand Lions. She appeared as Addison Corday in Saw II and Saw IV, and had a supporting role in the Josh Hartnett film 40 Days and 40 Nights. Vaugier was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up in a French-speaking French Roman Catholic household. She is fluent in French. She divides her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver. She attended Crofton House School, an all-girls private school, for 10 years until she transferred to Magee Secondary School, which offers a flexible academic program for professional and pre-professional student athletes, artists and musicians , for the last two years of high school. In 2004, Vaugier played Lindsey Kellogg on the short-lived Fox Television series North Shore.

Kathi Wilcox is an American musician. Currently the bass player in The Julie Ruin, she has previously been in bands such as Bikini Kill, The Casual... Dots and The Frumpies. Wilcox attended Evergreen State College where she studied film. During this time she and friends Kathleen Hanna and Tobi Vail collaborated on a feminist zine titled Bikini Kill. The three women then enlisted guitarist Billy Karren and began a feminist punk band also called Bikini Kill. Wilcox provided vocals, bass, and drums for the band, which lasted throughout the '90s and is considered one of the definitive bands of the riot grrrl movement. Wilcox later performed with the bands The Feebles, The Frumpies, Star Sign Scorpio and collaborated with Christina Billotte and Steve Dore in the Casual Dots. She is currently working with her Bikini Kill bandmate Kathleen Hanna in the band The Julie Ruin Kathi collaborated with Fugazi's Brendan Canty on the theme song to the punk rock-oriented children's show Pancake Mountain.
