Vanessa Jane Zima is an American actress. Zima was born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. She is a daughter of Dennis and Marie Zima. She has an older sister, Madeline, and one younger sister, Yvonne. Zima has played parts in movies such as Ulee's Gold, Zoe and TheBrainiacs.com. She began her film career at the age of eight in The Baby-Sitters Club 1995, a film also starring Larisa Oleynik and Rachael Leigh Cook. She was nominated in 1998 for a Young Artist Award in the Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a Feature Film by a Supporting Young Actress for Ulee's Gold .
