The Old Coast Guard Station Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of lifesaving on along the Atlantic coast. In 1915, the United States... Lifesaving Service became the United States Coast Guard. The station at Seatack is now the museum at 24th street adjacent to the boardwalk of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The area's lifesaving history along the coast line of the Graveyard of the Atlantic is commemorated here. It has artifacts from the shipwreck of the Dictator, displays of period lifesaving equipment, educational programs. The Seatack Station was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Rudy Boesch is a former Navy SEAL. After his honorable discharge, he was the oldest competitor on Survivor: Borneo at 72 years of age, where he... finished in third place. He set the record again when he competed on Survivor: All-Stars at 75. He is a resident of Virginia Beach. Boesch served in the U.S. military as a Navy SEAL team leader, completing over 45 years continuous active duty. From 1968–1970, Boesch completed two combat deployments to Vietnam. Boesch earned the Bronze Star for heroic action during more than 45 combat operations. In 1967, Boesch was promoted to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. During and after his service in Vietnam, Boesch was designated the "Chief SEAL" , and set physical and operational standards at SEAL Team TWO. Boesch was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal as Command Master Chief Petty Officer of the United States Special Operations Command . Boesch was honorably discharged from the Navy on August 1, 1990.

His father and maternal grandmother were of Italian descent, and his maternal grandfather was of French Canadian ancestry. He has two sisters, Tania and Nicole, and a brother, Scott, who died in December 2008. Ruffalo has described himself as having been a "happy kid" and his upbringing as taking place in a "very big" family with "lots of love". Of his father, Ruffalo has said, "He was an amazing, charismatic guy who was city high school wrestling champion three times. He was away a lot when I was growing up. I was very lonely for him.” Ruffalo was raised Roman Catholic; he attended both a Catholic and a progressive school.

Scott McKenzie is an American singer. He is best known for his 1967 hit single and generational anthem, "San Francisco ". McKenzie grew up in North... Carolina and Virginia, where he became friends with the son of one of his mother's friends, John Phillips. In the mid 1950s, he sang briefly with Tim Rose in a high school group called The Singing Strings, and later with Phillips, Mike Boran and Bill Cleary formed a doo wop band, The Abstracts. In New York, The Abstracts became The Smoothies and recorded two singles with Decca Records, produced by Milt Gabler. In 1961 Phillips and McKenzie met Dick Weissman and formed The Journeymen, which recorded three albums for Capitol Records. They disbanded The Journeymen in 1964, as McKenzie wanted to perform on his own. So Phillips formed the group The Mamas & the Papas with Denny Doherty, Cass Elliot and Michelle Phillips, his second wife. The group soon moved to California. Two years later, McKenzie followed from New York and signed with Lou Adler's Ode Records.

Charles Edward Hugo is an American musician and record producer. He is best known as one half of the music production and writing duo The Neptunes... and as a member of the funk/rock band N.E.R.D. He is a saxophonist, pianist and guitarist. Along with his production partner Pharrell Williams, he has produced numerous number-one hit tracks. Hugo was born in the South Hampton Roads city of Portsmouth, Virginia. He grew up in Virginia Beach; his father is a retired Filipino-American Navy officer while his mother is Filipina. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo met at the ages of 12 at a summer camp for musicians, which they both disliked. The two began working together, mixing beats and playing in various live bands. In 1992, while the two were attending different high schools in Virginia Beach , Williams was paid to write a verse to the 1992 single "Rump Shaker", by Wreckx-n-Effect. After several years of occasional productions for artists often associated with founder Teddy Riley, such as BLACKstreet and SWV, they scored songwriting and production assignments with artists such as N.O.R.E.

Leigh was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Yvonne Norton and Robert Potts. While in eighth grade, she started modeling. She soon began acting by appearing in local television commercials and a syndicated teen news show called Hall Pass. At age 16, Leigh took and passed the California High School Proficiency Exam. Kendra Todd is a real estate agent in Seattle, Washington. In 2005, she was the winner of season 3 of NBC's The Apprentice. Cardon set a national bench press record at age 17 for her weight class of 105 pounds and age category of 17-to-19-year-olds when she lifted 135 pounds. Cardon received second billing for a role in Nice Pants, a 2001 twelve minute short film directed by Michael Ansbach. In 2004-05 she was a contestant on the sixth season of the CBS television series The Amazing Race, finishing in 3rd place with her then boyfriend Adam Malis. TV Guide reported that Cardon and Mallis were favored to win, but that frequent arguments between the two "seemed to hold them back throughout the contest." Also in 2005 she appeared on one episode of the E! reality series Kill Reality, a series that followed filming of the film The Scorned, with its cast of former reality show participants.

He began dancing at the age of three, training at his mother's studio, and competing in a number of conventions. His professional career officially started at the age of nine when he appeared in a Dr. Pepper commercial. In 1999, he won the Junior National Outstanding Dancer Scholarship Award. On April 27, 2000, at age 12, he started a two-year run in The Music Man on Broadway, playing a resident of River City/Winthrop Paroo understudy. This gig led to him being chosen to perform at the 2000 New York City Dance Alliance's closing night gala.
