Walla Walla

Fort Walla Walla is a fort located in Walla Walla, Washington. It was established in 1858. Today, the complex contains a park, a museum, and a... hospital. Fort Walla Walla should be distinguished from Fort Nez Percés or Old Fort Walla Walla . The Fort Walla Walla Museum comprises 15 acres of the Fort Walla Walla Park, and includes four exhibit halls and a 17-building pioneer village. The museum offers living history performances each season on weekends and children's programs. The pioneer village includes several cabins, an outhouse, harness shop, blacksmith shop, schools, a jail, train depot, doctor's office and other structures. The exhibit halls include displays of military weapons and artifacts, tools, agricultural equipment, antique vehicles and firefighting vehicles, clothing and textiles.

The Kirkman House has been listed on the American National Register of Historic Places since December 1974. The Kirkman House is an authentic example... of the luxurious 1880s, a period of extensive growth for Walla Walla in downtown business buildings and in fine homes. The Kirkman house is one of the Northwest’s most outstanding Victorian structures. It was built by William Kirkman, who left Bolton, England in the middle of the 19th century and made money in cattle in the West. The family moved into the home in 1880, and it was home to three generations of Kirkmans before the family gave it to Whitman College in 1919. By the late 20th century the home, however, was in great disrepair and Walla Walla was in danger of losing it to deterioration. In 1977, the home was purchased by the Historical Architecture Development Corporation . They were a group of concerned citizens of Walla Walla who came together to save the historic sites and buildings of this area. The organization used Kirkman House as an office, eventually purchasing it and restoring the home into a period house museum. In 1982, H.A.D.

Connor Trinneer is an American film, stage and television actor. His highest profile roles have been the role of Charles "Trip" Tucker III on Star... Trek: Enterprise and Michael on Stargate Atlantis. Trinneer was born on March 19, 1969 in Walla Walla, Washington, but spent many years in Kelso, where he attended elementary, middle and then Kelso High School. He attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma. While at PLU, he played college football. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting, then went on to obtain a Master of Fine Arts degree from University of Missouri–Kansas City. Trinneer's grandparents on his mother's side were all from southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas, and provided the inspiration for the southern accent for his role as Trip Tucker. Trinneer married Ariana Navarre on May 29, 2004; they have a son, Jasper . He first came to attention in Arcadia at the Huntington Theater Company in Boston. Much of his work to date has been in theater, specifically a long association with the Circle X Theatre Company in Hollywood.

Washington is the second most populous state on the west coast and in the western United States after California.
