Juggle.com, an online encyclopedia and reference guide, is looking for a motivated and experienced Web copywriter to create unique content that will fascinate readers and attract search engines alike. Being an exceptional Web copywriter is not simply a 9-5 job; when not creating copy, you should be honing your skills both as a writer and as a Web professional, keeping up to date on search engine news, marketing trends, and the world of Internet business as a whole.
Your Skills and Responsibilities
You will be creating unique content for our readers and the search engines. To achieve this high standard of writing for search engines but creating interesting content for human readers, you should:
- Have a Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, English, communications or equivalent experience
- Have a thorough understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), including
- Site structure
- On-page SEO elements (title tags, meta description, etc.)
- Keyword research and generation
- Search-friendly content
- Link building strategies
- Metrics-driven SEO
- Have a thorough understanding of grammar, punctuation, proofreading, and Web writing best practices
- Have a broad knowledge across a number of subjects for the purposes of content creation, and a willingness to learn more through thorough research
- Be familiar with social media and social bookmarking outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Reddit, etc.)
What You Will Learn
The skills you bring to the table as a new Juggle team member are important; just as important, though, are the skills you will learn working with the diverse and highly motivated team we already have in place. As a Web copywriter, you already know how to put words together on the page and on the screen; here you’ll learn how to make your work part of a greater whole, including:
- How Web writing can work as a design element
- Best practices for creating a unified brand while working with analysts, designers, and developers
- Coding, developing, and design skills
- Further research areas and resources to round out your own specific skill set

Juggle.com is located in Belleville, IL, ten minutes east of downtown St. Louis in the Metro East.
