The Schindler House, also known as the Kings Road House or Schindler Chace house, is a house in West Hollywood, California designed by architect... Rudolf Schindler. The Schindler House is considered to be the first house built in the Modern style. The Schindler House was such a departure from existing residential architecture because of what it did not have; there is no conventional living room, dining room or bedrooms in the house. The residence was meant to be a cooperative live/work space for two young families. The concrete walls and sliding glass panels made novel use of industrial materials, while the open floor plan integrated the external environment into the residence, setting a precedent for California architecture in particular. After completing the Hollyhock House, Schindler and his wife Pauline vacationed in Yosemite in October 1921. Inspired by the trip, Schindler returned to create a design for multiple families to share a modern living area, much like the camp site. The Schindler House is laid out as two interlinking "L" shaped apartments using the basic design of the camp site that he had seen a year before.

Sunset Tower, previously known as The St. James's Club, The Argyle, and The Sunset Tower Hotel, is a historic building and hotel located on the... Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. Designed in 1929 by architect Leland A. Bryant, opened in 1931, it is considered one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the Los Angeles area. In its early years, it was the residence of many Hollywood celebrities, including John Wayne and Howard Hughes. After a period of decline in the early 1980s, the building was renovated and has been operated as a luxury hotel under the names The St. James's Club, The Argyle, and most recently the Sunset Tower Hotel. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The art deco Sunset Tower is considered one of the finest examples of the Streamline Moderne form of Art Deco architecture in Southern California. In their guide to Los Angeles architecture, David Gebhard and Robert Winter wrote that "this tower is a first class monument of the Zig Zag Moderne and as much an emblem of Hollywood as the Hollywood sign.

The Roxy Theatre is a famous nightclub, on the Sunset Strip, in West Hollywood, California. The Roxy is owned by Lou Adler and Adler's son, Nic, who... operates the club. The Roxy was opened on September 23, 1973, by Elmer Valentine and Lou Adler, along with original partners David Geffen, Elliot Roberts and Peter Asher. They took over the building previously occupied by a strip club owned by Chuck Landis called the Largo. Neil Young and his band The Santa Monica Flyers played the Roxy for the first week it was open. Only three months later, the original Genesis lineup with Peter Gabriel played several consecutive days at the Roxy, a run that some band members and many fans consider to be amongst their finest performances .

Josh Evans is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. Evans was born in New York City, New York, the son of actress Ali MacGraw and producer... Robert Evans. He is also the nephew of the late producer Charles Evans, stepson of Steve McQueen, and the stepbrother of actor and race car driver Chad McQueen. Lukas Daniel Haas is an American actor, known for roles both as a child and as an adult. His career has spanned more than 25 years during which time... he has appeared in more than 36 feature films, as well as a number of television shows and theater productions. Haas was born in West Hollywood, California, the son of Emily Tracy, a writer, and Berthold Haas, an artist. Haas' mother is a native of Texas, and his father immigrated from Germany. He has two brothers, twins Simon Jakoway Haas and Nikolai Johannes Haas, both musicians/artists. Haas was discovered at the age of 5 in his kindergarten by casting director Marjorie Simkin. His first screen role was as a child in the 1983 nuclear holocaust film Testament. Haas became more widely known in 1985 when, at the age of 8, he appeared with Harrison Ford in Witness. His performance as an Amish boy who is the sole witness to a police officer's murder was well-received by critics. Haas followed this with parts in films such as Lady in White and Solarbabies.

Brooklyn replaced Meagan Good as Vanessa Scott on My Wife and Kids. She is Junior's girlfriend and later wife, who first appears in the season finale of season 3 . She continues as a regular cast member throughout the rest of the series five year run. She also starred in the film adaptation of V. C. Andrews' novel Rain.
