Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field is located on the campus of the United States Military Academy, at West Point, New York, and is the home of the... Army Black Knights baseball team. Doubleday Field was named after Abner Doubleday, a member of the West Point Class of 1842. The field was dedicated in May 1939, which was celebrated by the American League and National League as the centennial year of baseball. After an extensive renovation, the new Johnson Stadium at Doubleday Field was formally dedicated on September 13, 1996. The project included new locker rooms, training rooms, clubhouse facilities, and 880 fixed chair-back seats. Along the visitors bullpen there is usually a group of present and former cadets from the USMA, who are known to give opposing teams a hard time. Johnson Stadium is placed in the heart of West Point. Behind right field you can see the library and other buildings, and behind left field is Cullum Hall. On April 4, 2009 the Black Knights were playing a game against College of the Holy Cross when a blackhawk helicopter flew over the outfield only about 15 feet from the field.

The Thayer Hotel is a 149-room "Historic Hotel of America" property located 50 miles north of New York City on the banks of the Hudson River at 674... Thayer Road in West Point, New York on the campus of the United States Military Academy. It is named after Sylvanus Thayer, West Point class of 1808, the "father of the Military Academy." The Thayer Hotel has three main markets: tourists visiting West Point, weddings, and corporate conferences. The Thayer Hotel came under new management in October, 2009. The 149-room hotel has been completely renovated, re-branded, and is now being marketed to host corporate events and leadership training. In 1829, the West Point Hotel was built near the Plain on Trophy Point. The West Point Hotel served the academy for over a century, hosting a long list of dignitaries such as Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Stonewall Jackson, Winfield Scott, William Tecumseh Sherman, Washington Irving, Edgar Allan Poe, and James Whistler. Perhaps that hotels' history is tied most famously to one of West Point's most famous graduates, General Douglas MacArthur. During General Douglas MacArthur's time as a cadet, his mother lived in the West Point Hotel.

Gillis Field House is a 3,500-seat, multi-purpose arena in West Point, New York. It was home to the United States Military Academy's Army Black... Knights men's basketball team until Christl Arena opened in 1985. Currently, Gillis Field House is the home of the Black Knights' track and field and volleyball teams. Gillis Field House is fully equipped with locker rooms for both teams and also features coaches offices and a fully equipped training room. Gillis Field House is named for Maj. William G. Gillis. As a member of the West Point Class of 1941, cadet lieutenant Gillis was captain of the 1940 football team and a three-year track letterman. He was killed in action October 1, 1944 in Gremercy Forest in France during WW II. When he died, Gillis was married to Lenore Riley Mudge. Gillis received the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star, two Purple Hearts, as well as the British Distinguished Service Order, and France’s Croix De Guerre, Silver Gilt and Vermillion Star. Located within Gills Field House, Crowell Track is the home of Army's indoor track & field team. Crowell track features a six-lane , 200-meter, mondo-surface oval track.

While little is known about Steamboat's personal life, it is a known fact that he went to high school in New York. He was a two time New York State Wrestling qualifier.

Thomas Arthur Mesereau, Jr. is an American attorney at law best known for defending Michael Jackson in his 2005 child molestation trial. Mesereau was... the second lawyer for actor Robert Blake's case over the murder of his wife Bonnie Lee Bakley. Blake's first attorney Harland Braun resigned over Blake's decision to appear in a televised interview with Diane Sawyer against Braun's advice and counsel. Mesereau and his co-counsel and law partner, Susan Yu, later withdrew from the case due to differences with Blake. After Mesereau and Yu withdrew, Blake hired another lawyer and was eventually acquitted. In 2004, Mesereau and Susan Yu were hired to replace attorneys Mark Geragos and Ben Brafman as lead trial counsel. The trial lasted from January 2005 through June 2005. Jackson was found not guilty.
