Born Marilyn Ann Briggs in Providence, Rhode Island, and raised in Westport, Connecticut in a middle-class household. It is often reported that she was born in Westport, however in a 2007 interview Chambers confirmed she was born in Providence but grew up in Westport. Her father was in advertising and her mother was a nurse. She was the youngest of three children, including a brother, Martin Briggs , and a sister, Jann Smith. Chambers attended Burr Farms Elementary School, Hillspoint Elementary School, Long Lots Junior High School, and Staples High School.

Anna-Lou "Annie" Leibovitz is an American portrait photographer. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, Leibovitz is the third of six children. She is a... third-generation American whose great-grandparents were Jewish immigrants, from Central and Eastern Europe. Her father's parents had emigrated from Romania. Her mother, Marilyn Leibovitz, was a modern dance instructor of Estonian Jewish heritage; her father, Sam Leibovitz, was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force. The family moved frequently with her father's duty assignments, and she took her first pictures when she was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. In high school, she became interested in various artistic endeavors, and began to write and play music. She attended the San Francisco Art Institute, where she studied painting. For several years, she continued to develop her photography skills while working various jobs, including a stint on a kibbutz in Amir, Israel, for several months in 1969. When Leibovitz returned to the United States in 1970, she started her career as staff photographer, working for the just launched Rolling Stone magazine.

Nile Gregory Rodgers is an American musician, producer, composer, arranger, and guitarist. Rodgers began his career as a session guitarist in New... Together they formed The Big Apple Band that backed R&B act New York City . The band’s one hit allowed them to tour extensively, even opening for The Jackson 5 on the American leg of their first world tour in 1973. The band dissolved after their second album failed to yield a hit, but Nile and Bernard joined forces with drummer Tony Thompson, and worked and recorded as a Funk Rock band called The Boys, which played numerous gigs up and down the East Coast.

Woodward was born in Thomasville, Georgia, daughter of Elinor Gignilliat and Wade Woodward, Jr., who at one point was vice president of publisher Charles Scribner's Sons. Her middle name, "Gignilliat", originates from distant Huguenot ancestry. She was influenced to become an actress by her mother's love of movies. Her mother named her after Joan Crawford, using the Southern pronunciation of the name "Joanne". Attending the premiere of Gone with the Wind in Atlanta, nine-year-old Woodward rushed out into the parade of stars and sat on the lap of Laurence Olivier, star Vivien Leigh's partner and future husband. She eventually worked with Olivier in 1977, in a television production of Come Back, Little Sheba. During rehearsals, she mentioned this incident to him and he told her he remembered her doing it. Woodward lived in Thomasville until she was in the second grade. Her family relocated to Marietta, Georgia.

Stephen C. "Steve" Miner is an American film and television director who is also a film producer. Miner was born in Westport, Connecticut.... Television programs Miner has directed include The Wonder Years, Jake 2.0, Felicity, Dawson's Creek , and Diagnosis: Murder. However, Miner first made his big splash as an associate-producer on the 1980 hit, Friday the 13th. He would go on to successfully direct the following sequels, Friday the 13th Part 2 and its 3D sequel Friday the 13th Part III. To this day, Steve Miner is the only director to direct more than one film in the Friday the 13th series. In 1986, he directed the horror comedy House which featured his real life son playing a kid who the main character must protect from monsters. In later years, Miner would direct Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and Lake Placid. Miner directed the 2008 film Day of the Dead, a remake of the George A. Romero film of the same name. The remake stars Ving Rhames, Mena Suvari, Nick Cannon and 2001 Maniacs' Christa Campbell, and was penned by Jeffrey Reddick .

She has a sister, Ashley, and a brother, Tanner. During the early 1990s, Kenney-Silver joined with the sketch comedy group The State. The group was picked up for a self-titled sketch comedy show on MTV, The State, which lasted for three seasons between 1993 and 1995. After the show's completion, Kenney-Silver continued working with her fellow troupe members on other projects. In 1996, she co-wrote and starred in Viva Variety, a parody of variety shows that aired on Comedy Central for two seasons. In 2000, Kenney-Silver followed in her father's footsteps, voicing the character of "Gravitina" in the children's cartoon Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Subkoff and Matthew Damhave were co-founders of the clothing line Imitation Of Christ, which remade old clothes into new works of fashion. They named their fashion line after the 15th century book of the same name by Thomas à Kempis. Chloë Sevigny was creative director of the line and Scarlett Johansson walked the runway in Subkoff's designs, and she recently collaborated with shoe company Easy Spirit. While the clothing was worn together with the shoes, the shoe collections were not branded as part of the Imitation of Christ clothing line. In reference to the collection's Spring 2003 show, Laird Borelli writing for Vogue magazine's Style.com observed, "Like all IOC events, the spring show, billed as a 'retrospective,' was more about performance art and cultural theory than clothes.

David Marshall Grant is an American actor and writer. Grant was born in Westport, Connecticut, to physician parents. Immediately after graduating... from the Yale School of Drama, his first paying job was as Richard Gere's lover in the Broadway play Bent. His first screen role was in the 1979 film French Postcards. He went on to appear in several more films, both on the big screen and television. In 1985, he co-starred with Kevin Costner in John Badham's cyling theme film American Flyers. By this time, Grant was also working in episodic television and also had the role of Digger Barnes in the miniseries Dallas: The Early Years in 1986. In 1989, he portrayed the gay character Russell Weller on the television show thirtysomething. Although he only appeared in four episodes between 1989-90, the role brought him considerable recognition, particularly in one groundbreaking episode that featured his character in bed with another male character - a scene that caused outcry among conservative sponsors at the time.
