Sandy Denny , born Alexandra Elene Maclean Denny, was an English singer and songwriter, perhaps best known as the lead singer for the folk rock band... Fairport Convention. She has been described by Allmusic's Richie Unterberger as "the pre-eminent British folk rock singer". After briefly working with British folk band the Strawbs, Denny joined Fairport Convention in 1968, remaining with that band until the end of 1969. She formed the short-lived band Fotheringay in 1970, releasing one album with them , before focusing on a solo career. Between 1971 and 1977, Denny released four solo albums: The North Star Grassman and the Ravens, Sandy, Like an Old Fashioned Waltz, and Rendezvous. She is also noted as the only guest vocalist on a Led Zeppelin studio album, when she shared a duet with Robert Plant for "The Battle of Evermore" on Led Zeppelin IV . Music publications Sunday Express, Uncut and Mojo have each called Denny Britain's finest female singer-songwriter.

Robert Oliver Reed was an English actor known for his burly screen presence. Reed exemplified his real-life macho image in "tough guy" roles. His... films include The Trap, Oliver!, Women in Love, Hannibal Brooks, The Triple Echo, The Devils, The Three Musketeers, Tommy, Castaway, Lion of the Desert and Gladiator. Reed was born Robert Oliver Reed in Wimbledon, London, to sports journalist Peter Reed and his wife Marcia . He was the nephew of film director Sir Carol Reed, and grandson of the actor-manager Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree by his alleged mistress May Pinney Reed. He was alleged to have been a descendant of Tsar Peter the Great of Russia. Reed attended Ewell Castle School in Surrey. After time in the British Army, serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps, Reed commenced his thespian career as an extra in films in the late 1950s. He had no acting training or theatrical experience. Oliver Reed appeared uncredited in an early Norman Wisdom film, The Square Peg in 1958, and in another Wisdom comedy, The Bulldog Breed in 1960, where Reed played the leader of a gang of Teddy Boys roughing up Wisdom in a cinema.

Alexander Martin Clunes is an English actor and comedian. Clunes is perhaps best known for his roles as Gary Strang in Men Behaving Badly, Doctor... Martin Ellingham in Doc Martin and the title character in Reggie Perrin. Clunes is the son of the classical actor Alec Clunes, who died of lung cancer when Clunes was eight and a half years old. He has an older sister, Amanda. His mother Daphne, later a board member of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, once worked for Orson Welles. Clunes was educated at two independent secondary schools, the Royal Russell School in Croydon and The Arts Educational Schools, in Chiswick, London. Clunes served his first role in rep at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, and his first television appearance came in the 1980s Doctor Who story Snakedance as the spoiled Lon. But a sporadic career led to his supplementing his income as a photo model for Gilbert and George, and he can be seen in their 1983 work World. He got his first regular television role as one of the sons in the BBC sitcom No Place Like Home, and then starred in two series of the sitcom All at No 20.

During his childhood he lived in a number of countries, including Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, and Uganda, where he spent two years before returning to the United States. His first hometown in the United States was Darien, Connecticut, at the age of four. He moved to Miami two years later. When he was nine his family returned to London where Steve-O attended the American School in London in St. John's Wood for four years of school. As a child, he was an avid Mötley Crüe fan.

Katherine 'Kate' Humble is an English television presenter, mainly for the BBC, specialising in wildlife and science programmes. Born in Wimbledon to Nick Humble and Diana Carter, she grew up in Bray in Berkshire and attended the Abbey School in Reading. Pearl Thompson is an English musician best known for his work with The Cure. Thompson is the oldest of four children; he has two brothers and one... sister. Thompson was married to Janet Smith, the younger sister of Cure bandmate Robert Smith, and together they have three sons and a daughter. Thompson was part of the original lineup of the Cure, which also included Robert Smith, Michael Dempsey, and Lol Tolhurst when the band was first formed in 1976; however, he was dropped by the time they released their debut album, Three Imaginary Boys, in 1979 because his lead guitar style was at odds with Smith's growing preference for minimalist songwriting. He rejoined the band in 1983 on saxophone and helped record the album The Top. During the Top tour, Thompson played keyboard as well as the guitar and saxophone. He also performed with The Glove when they appeared on television. Thompson performed on four more studio albums and four live albums as well as the videos The Cure in Orange, Picture Show and Festival 2005.

Benedict "Ben" Moor is an English comedy writer and actor. Moor was born in Wimbledon and grew up in Whitstable, Kent. He read History at University... College, Oxford and graduated in 1990. While at university joined The Oxford Revue after watching the Seven Raymonds perform and first met Richard Herring, Stewart Lee and Al Murray, whom he would collaborate with in future. Moving to London, Moor wrote sketches for Week Ending and Spitting Image and developed his own work. In 1995 he created Elastic Planet for BBC Radio 4 which populated surreal storytelling with real world personalities such as Patrick Moore and Raymond Baxter. It was narrated by Oliver Postgate. Moor's television credits include a clown in Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, a quiz participant in Time Gentlemen Please and various roles in Fist of Fun and ITV's Planet Mirth. Moor also played the part of Andolini in Lasse Hallström's 2005 movie, Casanova. In 2000, he played Lord John Dervis in the Bristol Old Vic and West End production of A Busy Day by Fanny Burney. His one-man shows include A Supercollider for the Family, Poppy Day and My Last Week With Modolia.
