World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade

Anetheron is a member of the Burning Legion in the fictional Warcraft universe. He is a cunning and horrifically powerful Dreadlord, Anetheron was... second in the ranks of the Nathrezim only to Tichondrius himself . Anetheron waited in the Twisting Nether, acting as emissary of Archimonde to Tichondrius. They grew agitated when they began to suspect the Lich King of treachery. But Tichondrius was confident that, despite his obvious ulterior motives, the Lich King was still providing the tools they needed to make way for the invasion. In a meeting in the Twisting Nether, Tichondrius assured Anetheron that everything was still well in his control. Because Anetheron mentioned only Archimonde in the council with Tichondrius and Mephistroth, it has been inferred that he was loyal to the Defiler only, and held little loyalty to Kil'jaeden. When Archimonde came to the world, Anetheron went with him, and served as a personal guardsman. When Tichondrius was killed by Illidan, Anetheron was given joint rule of the Scourge, alongside the deadly blood lich, Rage Winterchill.

This article concerns fiction from the Warcraft universe. Garrosh Hellscream is the son of Grom Hellscream, the great chieftain of the Warsong clan... who freed the orcs from their demonic curse by killing the Pit Lord Mannoroth. Garrosh is now an important chief among the Mag'har, the uncorrupted orcs settled in Garadar, a stronghold in Nagrand. He is also aided by Jorin Deadeye, son of the Bleeding Hollow clan's chieftain, Killrogg Deadeye. Apparently, Garrosh is now in deep depression because of the illness of Greatmother Geyah, the current leader of the Mag'har, and Warchief Thrall's grandmother. Garrosh is said not to be similar to his father in the spirit At least not yet. But then again, he didn't drink Mannoroth's Blood, the factor which made his father such a fierce warrior.

Gul'dan, Warlock of the Inner Circle and Destroyer of Dreams is a fictional character in the Warcraft universe ￢ﾀﾔ a fictional... universe in which a series of games and books are set. Gul'dan the Destroyer was only given a brief actual appearance in the Warcraft games , although he is infamous throughout the Warcraft universe, and his actions had spectacular consequences in perpetuity after his own death. He was first introduced in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, however, his history of involvement extends back even before the First War in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. On the Orcish home world of Draenor, Gul'dan the Destroyer was apprentice of the Shaman Ner'zhul of the Shadowmoon Clan. As Ner'zhul's most promising student, however, he soon became more adept than his master, and eventually came to see him as being a foolish and feeble old man. Gul'dan was one of the best-educated orcs on Draenor, eventually becoming the protￃﾩgￃﾩ of the Demonlord Kil'jaeden the Deceiver, who completed his training in Warlock magic.

Illidan Stormrage is a major character in the fictional Warcraft universe. He was featured prominently in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its... expansion The Frozen Throne, and has more recently reappeared in the World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade He was, at a time, a member of the Night Elf race and is one of their most ancient, influential and infamous figures. He has also become one of the most popular characters in the Warcraft universe. Illidan is - like the Naga and especially the Satyr - a transformed corrupted Night Elf. He began life as a relatively normal male of his species, tall and muscular with sharp features, glowing eyes, purple skin and long, pointed ears. The only abnormality was the color of his eyes, which were a golden amber instead of the more commonly found silver eyes found among Night Elves. Amber colored eyes were said to prophesize greatness, which is one reason Illidan felt pressured to succeed. When Illidan was in alliance with Sargeras, the titan burned out his eyes and replaced them with glowing green flames, which Illidan hides behind a blindfold.

Rob Pardo is Executive Vice President of Game Design at Blizzard Entertainment. Previously he was the lead designer of World of Warcraft. In 2006, he was named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Rob Pardo has been credited on the following games: Pardo appears in animated form in the South Park episode Make Love, Not Warcraft, which deals with World of Warcraft. He was Guild Master of the EverQuest guild... Legacy of Steel, which accomplished many world-firsts. He met friend and now coworker Tigole during his time in Legacy of Steel. Tigole would go on to replace him as guild leader and was eventually offered a position as designer alongside Rob.

Tom "Kalgan" Chilton was a lead game designer for Blizzard Entertainment and is a lead designer for the MMORPG World of Warcraft. He has been referred to as "Blizzard's PvP guru." Chilton, along with Rob Pardo and Jeffrey Kaplan, were the three Lead Designers for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade,, he was one of six Game Designers. Chilton was on the developer panels at BlizzCon 2005 in October 2005 and BlizzCon 2007 in August 2007. At... BlizzCon 2005, he was on the developer panels for discussions about character classes, dungeon creation, raids, and battlegrounds. At BlizzCon 2007, he was on the developer panels for discussions about classes, PvP, user interface and mods, and professions and items. He also appeared on numerous pannels during BlizzCon 2009. He previously worked for Origin Systems and was Lead Designer for Ultima Online: Age of Shadows. Chilton attended the University of Arizona, and is a fan of the webcomic PvP.
