Yann Tiersen

Yann Tiersen is a French multi-instrumentalist and composer who became internationally famous with his movie score for Jean-Pierre Jeunet's movie, "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain" , also comprising new versions of tracks from previous albums. Yann became generally known in France by the release of his third album, Le Phare , and has also built a reputation for his entertaining live performances, switching effortlessly between instruments like the piano, toy piano, piano accordion, violin, mandolin, melodica and bass guitar.
