Zachary Paul Piller is a former American college and professional football player who was a guard in the National Football League for eight seasons during the late 1990s and 2000s. Piller played college football for the University of Florida, and was a member of a national championship team in 1996. Thereafter, he played professionally for the Tennessee Titans of the NFL. Piller was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida, where he high school football for the Lincoln Trojans. Piller initially accepted an athletic scholarship to attend Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, where he played for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team. After his freshman year ended, he transferred to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and played for coach Steve Spurrier's Florida Gators football team from 1996 to 1998. Piller was a sophomore letterman on the 1996 Gators squad that defeated the in-state rival Florida State Seminoles in the Sugar Bowl to win the national championship.
