It premiered on 16 May 1997 in Mumbai. Kishan is a career thief, and is on the run from the police in Bombay. He decides to re-locate to another place where he is not known to the police. He decides to make Jamalpur in Uttar Pradesh his new home. Here's where he meets and falls in love with Roma Khurana, the sister of a corrupt Superintendent of Police. This is also where he witnesses a murder committed in broad daylight by the... region's Raja Gajraj Singh, and now Kishan must decide to be a witness against Gajraj, or continue to exist in his present career.
